DDI has undertaken general heating and ventilation installation work in a number of new build and refurbishment NHS Hospitals including Aintree, Acre Mill, St James Hospital Leeds and Halton Hospital, Fazakerley.

In addition to this we have carried out modifications to existing ventilation systems for sensitive areas in West Cumbria HDU and Alder Hey Laboratories.

While cleanliness of ducts delivered and installed is always important, it is paramount in all hospitals and labs. DDI ensure best practice by bagging and sealing off items in transit, as well as maintaining a rigorous cleaning regime on site at both storage and point of installation. Further considerations are made when designing systems to allow for adequate access points ensuring ease of cleaning and maintenance in line with industry guidelines and B&ES Good Practice Guide TR19.
